Who the heck is St. Baldrick's and why do you people shave YOUR heads????

What started as a bet between friends on who could shave their heads and raise the most money for childhood cancer has grown into one of the largest volunteer driven charities in the country!  It began as a way to tell children who lost their hair to treatment that they were bald and beautiful. We shave in solidarity to those children and to DEMAND awarness for the NUMBER ONE disease related killer of our children. It's not about the length of the hair... but the stance you are taking against childhood cancer.

Since its start in 2000 over 150 million dollars has been raised to fund the most promising childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick's works with top onocologists, hospitals, and universities to make sure the grants they give are going to the most cutting edge research.

Volunteers (VEO's) organize events all year everywhere in the US. NOT ALL ST BALDRICK'S EVENTS ARE SHAVING EVENTS! The beautiful thing with St. B is you design your own fundraiser and they support you through it. It's not about whose event was the best. It's about everyone working together to conquer childhood cancer.

St Baldrick's is a 501c3 Organization and in great standing with the BBB and all charity rating groups. Our 2015 financials are below. When you work with St. Baldrick's rest assured there is not a CEO getting rich off of this cause... just working towards a cure togehter!

74% went to our cause: Childhood cancer research expenses
* 4% to administration: Accounting, management, etc.
* 22% to fundraising expenses: Website, t-shirts, call center, credit card fees for donations, postage, printing, etc. - to equip our volunteers to raise funds
